Short description
The ‘Professional Development and Employment for People with Disabilities’ programme supports people with disabilities in preparing for the job market. It focuses on CV writing, interview preparation, skills recognition, use of basic digital tools and building self-confidence.

16 hours, across 4 sessions of 4 hours each.
Certificate
A certificate of attendance is issued by European Pathfinders.
Educational purpose
The aim of the programme is to strengthen participants’ professional readiness and help them present their skills, interests and support needs clearly. The programme connects professional development with accessibility, autonomy, equal participation and each person’s right to seek a place in social and professional life.
Who it is for
The programme is aimed at people with disabilities who are seeking employment, training or professional development. It is also aimed at organisations supporting people with disabilities, social services, associations, professional counselling services and organisations working for labour market inclusion.
Content
Participants learn to recognise and describe their skills, create or improve their CV, prepare for a job interview and use basic digital job-search tools. The programme also includes an introduction to the professional use of social media, creating a simple digital profile and basic concepts of accessibility and reasonable adjustments in the workplace.
Educational methodology
The programme is based on practical exercises, individualised support, interview simulations, work on real-life examples and adaptation of materials to participants’ needs. The methodology emphasises empowerment rather than the formal transmission of information.
