The ‘Healthy Nutrition’ programme helps adults understand the basic principles of a balanced diet and make more conscious choices in their daily lives. Educational purpose

The aim of the programme is to strengthen participants’ nutritional awareness and help them translate knowledge into everyday practice. The programme does not treat nutrition as a theoretical topic, but as part of everyday life, prevention, wellbeing and personal care.

The programme is aimed at adults of all ages, parents, older people, local community groups and organisations interested in activities related to health, prevention, wellbeing and improving everyday habits.

Content

Participants learn about the basic principles of a balanced diet and how to read simple nutritional labels. The programme explores the relationship between diet and energy, mood, daily functioning and prevention. It also includes practical advice on healthier choices on a limited budget and on avoiding misleading information online.

The programme is based on examples from everyday life, practical exercises, group discussion and simple choice scenarios. Participants are not asked to memorise rules, but to understand how they can make better decisions based on their own needs and circumstances.
